01Data controller

Virtus Lever ('we') is the data controller for personal data collected via the service and the website virtuslever.com. For any question, write to [email protected].

02Data we collect

We collect only the data strictly necessary to operate the service:

• Account data: name, email address, encrypted password.
• Inbox data: metadata and content needed to calculate the leverage score, via a read-only OAuth connection.
• Usage data: technical logs, preferences, aggregated statistics.

03Purposes and legal bases

Your data is processed to provide the service (contract performance), improve the product (legitimate interest), and fulfil our legal obligations. We do not train our own models on your data.

04Hosting and retention

Data is hosted within the European Union. It is retained for the duration of your use of the service, then deleted within 24 hours of account closure.

05Artificial intelligence

The AI features (e-mail sorting and analysis, reply suggestions, summaries, assistant, search, memory) send the strictly necessary content to outside AI providers through their business APIs. Nothing is sent before your explicit permission, asked once for your account, in the app and on the web.

Data concerned: the content of your e-mails (sender, recipients, subject, body and attachment text), your messages to the assistant, your notes and captures, and the calendar events relevant to the answer. Providers, all in the United States:

• Groq, Inc.: main model (sorting, analysis, suggestions, summaries, assistant).
• Anthropic, PBC: backup model and the assistant's agent mode.
• OpenAI, L.L.C.: search index (turning the text of e-mails and documents into vectors) and the Memory feature of the paid plans.
• Google LLC (Gemini): Memory feature of the paid plans (graph of the people and facts).
• If you refuse, your inbox and calendar keep working without the AI features. You can withdraw or give your permission again at any time: Profile > Artificial intelligence in the app, Settings > Artificial intelligence on the web.

06Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, as well as to object to processing. You can exercise these rights by writing to [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country (CNIL in France).

07Cookies

We use strictly necessary technical cookies only, and no advertising cookies. Cookieless audience measurement: to learn which pages and links are useful, we count page views (Cloudflare Web Analytics) and clicks on the site's main links (page, link clicked, referring site or campaign, device type). It sets no cookie, stores no IP address or identifier, cannot follow you across other sites and only produces anonymous statistics for our own use. Clicks are kept for 13 months. The source of your visit (campaign or referring site) is kept for the browser tab and passed to the sign-up page so we know where our users come from. Other analytics only run with your consent.

08Updates to this policy

We may update this policy. Any significant change will be notified by email or in-app notification at least 15 days before taking effect.
