Fyxer is one of the most visible AI email assistants: it organises your inbox, prepares your replies and takes notes in your meetings. Before you subscribe, or if you're looking for something else, here's what you need to know to choose.
What Fyxer does
Fyxer connects to Gmail or Outlook and works inside the email client you already use. It sorts emails into categories so the ones that need a reply rise to the top, and it prepares drafts in your style for you to review before sending. It also offers a meeting notetaker.
On price, its pricing page shows at the time of writing (October 2026) a free plan, a Pro plan at $37 per person per month and a Team plan at $64, billed annually, plus an Enterprise plan on quote. A 14-day trial is available.
Fyxer highlights SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications and GDPR compliance. Who is it for? Someone who gets a lot of email that needs answering and mainly wants to save time on writing.

Why look for an alternative
Budget. At $37 a month per person, the bill adds up quickly for a team. Ask yourself which part of the service you'll really use: drafts, sorting, meeting notes?
Data. An email assistant reads all your messages. Check where they're stored, whether access is read-only or read-write, and whether a data processing agreement (DPA, GDPR article 28) exists. For a European company, EU hosting makes the conversation with clients or your DPO simpler.
The real need. A draft written faster doesn't tell you which email to handle first. If your day ends with fifty replies sent and the important file still waiting, writing wasn't the problem. Our guide to AI for sorting email compares these needs.

Virtus Lever: one priority a day, data in the EU
Virtus Lever starts from a different question: which email to start with. Every morning its Domino algorithm finds the highest-leverage email, the one that unblocks the rest. Lever also tracks your follow-ups and measures your backlog, so nothing important goes unanswered.
You keep Gmail, Outlook or any IMAP address. Lever connects read-only, your data is hosted in the EU and a DPA is available. Your personal assistant answers your questions from your emails, your documents and your contact graph.
Lever doesn't try to write a hundred replies a day for you. It helps you decide, in the spirit of the prioritization matrix, then reply well when it matters.

How to choose in practice
Choose Fyxer if your main problem is time spent writing, you want automatic meeting notes and the budget works for your team.
Choose Virtus Lever if you want to know every day which email really matters, keep your current inbox and work with data hosted in the EU. The two approaches can also complement each other.
The simplest thing is to try. Lever lets you start for free: one priority a day, for two weeks. You can also compare with our Superhuman alternative article.
